  1. I could be wrong but was that DD using his billy club as a grappling hook? And I'm not sure if I like the lenses on the helmet. They look tacked on and kinda goofy.
  2. I'm guessing the R-Rated stuff will be more from the Batman side of things (like Arkham Knight being an M game), but it is really weird to have an R-rating and Superman together.
  3. The Invisibles Vol. 1 - It was going along pretty slow but well enough, then it got weird. Dane's an ass, it's hard to really care for him right now. The Invisibles themselves are interesting though. If I'm gonna keep on with the series it's gonna be for them. The S&M Sandmans (The Cyphermen, I think?) are really creepy. The art by Yeowell's good, but Jill Thompson's work was better.
  4. Got Injustice for the PS4, and it's pretty fun. My only other fighting game experience has been with MvC, but I'm starting to get better at Injustice. My favorite character right now is Batgirl, she has a great set of moves.
  5. Sin Titulo - Collection of Cameron Stewart's webcomic. Pretty good, but I'm not sure what to make of the end. Batgirl #48 - Some of the best art from Tarr so far. Fun seeing Canary. The new villain...ehh, we'll see. Flash #48 - Good to see a new artist on the book, Merino feels right for it. The story, I'm not sure I get. A-Force #2 - The way the book got the gang together was pretty well-done. I like all the characters, especially the ones I'm not so familiar with. The art really makes the book. All-New All-Different Avengers #5 - Fun book with an interesting little mystery. Cliffhanger is pure comics. Dug the art by Asrar. ASM #7-8 - Kinda forgettable. I dig the art though, it's pretty stylish. Captain Marvel #2 - Bit unremarkable, but the art is good enough to keep going. Spider-Gwen #5 - The art was distracting. It makes sense for being an in-between chapter and it fits with the aesthetic of the book but I found it muddy and hindered my enjoyment of the story. The Ultimates #4

    DC reboot

Oh thank God, Blue Beetle has his own book again.
  7. Benicio del Toro has said that he'll have a villainous role. Hey, Mark Hamill's said anything's possible.
  8. They can always do the Beast Wars stuff, which if I remember correctly involved time travel too.

Even the Francis Manapul variant to Detective Comics isn't as awesome as it could be. Kinda wish he did the Batman cover, though I guess it makes sense with him having a run on 'Tec. I'd say that the Tarr variant is the best of the lot, really.
  10. I'm not sure if I'd agree with the opening credits being all that original, you could say that it's a Watchmen-like intro. But I'd grant that the humor in it makes it unique.
  11. Fun movie. Wouldn't describe it as the most unique comic movie, because I could draw comparisons to Kingsman or Wanted as far as style and tone, but it's definitely better than the Millar movies.
  12. There's quite a bit of Dark Knight Returns in the action, with some of the Arkham games.
  13. If they end up singing, that would be far too much for anyone to handle.
  14. Orphan Black Helsinki #3 - There's really not much to it other than reminding you of the show before it comes back on the air. Decent art though. Cry Havoc #1 - Picked this up for the gorgeous variant cover by Cameron Stewart. Art inside was surprisingly good, which is typically not the case when you get something for the cover. Story was intriguing enough. Might check this out in trade. All-New All-Different Avengers #4 - Kinda cute, liked the art by Mahmud Asrar. Daredevil #3 - Best issue so far, but that's not saying much. Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur #3 - Really liking this series. Spider-Woman #3 - Great issue. Javier Rodriguez's storytelling is fantastic. Eleventh Doctor Year 2 #5 - Not the series' best. Cliffhanger is kinda cool though.
  15. After much putting it off, I finally watched End of Evangelion. I yelled at the screen a lot.
  16. CBR pointed out that the script says "Worlds Finest", which could either be just a typo or a hint that there'll be some multiple Earths business.
  17. I think it's going to be a multiverse thing. There's been no indication so far of any Supercharacters in the CW-verse. I'd rather this happened in The Flash, since the cast is much more interesting, but I'm really excited about this. I wanna see Cat Grant's reaction to the Flash, that'd be great.
  18. Alien Isolation is finally paying off in a big way. I'm at what I think is the last level and almost too scared to keep on going. Got inFamous Second Son in the meanwhile, and it's fun stuff. It's in the spirit of Incredible Hulk Ultimate Destruction, Prototype, the Spider-Man games and every other city-based free-roam game with superpowers that I've played. It has a nice range of powers and a fairly large, varied environment for you to play with. I'll probably play First Light soon.
  19. Because it's a big cast and everybody's gotta have something to do? I enjoyed the second part of the pilot about as much as the first. Marty Stein was fun to see, especially with Sara. The scene with Ray and Snart trapped together was good, Routh and Miller continue to be the best actors of the show. I'm not all that convinced by Jax, but he's starting to grow on me. Loved the first fight scene, the one at the mansion was a little bit more cluttered though. And the relationship between Kendra and Carter continues to drag the show down. Carter was just not cast or written very well. On the other hand, Savage showed a little more menace this time out than before.
