JackFetch
People are ripping on the Gambit picture that seems to have been leaked on the net, cant remember where I have seen it or a link, but its not that bed as he is playing cards in his shirt without the jacket This is the image. I think people are just mad about the eyes.
Molly
You know, one of the few things Marvel has gotten really, really right about the X-Movies is translating the look, without making them look goofy. Red eyes would have been goofy. Gambit looks fine.
elnino14
I'm actually really excited for this movie. I think out of all the Marvel movies thus far I've marked out the most for the X-men series. Probably because I grew up on the X-men cartoon. I still think that X-2 is my favorite Marvel movie to date. I also really enjoyed X-3 and thought it wasn't that bad, certainly it wasn't as good as the second film, but it wasn't bad by any means, it suffered from the same things that Spiderman 3, too many ideas stuffed into one movie. Gambit looks good, and really people are complaining for nothing, especially considering that it doesn't make much sense for Gambit to be in this movie in the first place, and the only reason they put him in is because fans love him. Anyways, by the time the movie is over, nobody is going to care about Gambit because of my man Deadpool.

Guest
Where's The Feral One to tell everyone how this movie is going to be ruined without red eye Gambit?
Dan
Marvel clearly doesn't understand The Gambit if they don't realize the whites of his eyes are supposed to be black. Also, he's not wearing his pink armor, and is therefore specifically trying to ruin my life.
James D.
And he better be immune to telepathy and have a static interference around himself at all times, or else the entire Marvel timeline will be thrown off and fucked forever. JackFetch
And how is Gambit supposed to fall for Rogue when she is only a baby during this movie? It's about pedophiles, boycott time! /sarcasm off

Stavros
Too little Deadpool but otherwise this film looks pretty damn promising. I thought it might end with Wolverine getting the adamantium, pinpointing that as the transition from the origin story to his later state of wandering and amnesia in X-men, but it looks like a good portion of the film is set after he gets the shiny claws. I guess it could all work out, but I still want this to end in a fairly tragic and downbeat way. Blob looks awesome.

Guest DCAUFan1051
That. Looks. Awesome! I agree but why the hell are they calling it X-Men Origins: Wolverine? by now most of the world knows the character unless u live in a basement with no line of technological communication. Does this mean Marvel will be doing all Origin stories on the X-Cast or are they gonna do another REAL X-Men team movie???
Venneh
I'm willing to bet it was the best title they could come up for the project. I doubt there's going to be a whole series of origins; the only other planned one is Magneto, but they're not calling it that.
Dan
The boy wanted me to take him to see The Day the Earth Stood Still this past weekend. Imagine my pride when I found out it was only so he could see this trailer on the big screen. 'Twas a good trailer. I don't know if I'm excited to see this movie, but I'm certainly intrigued. Venneh
This looks pretty good. I'll probably go see it. I can explain all the Gambit with one word, though: Fangirls.
Molly
The scene with Gambit and Wolvie could honestly go down like this: Gambit: I'm terribly overrated! Wolverine: Well, I'm terribly overrated *and* totally overexposed! Gambit: You son of a bitch! *cards Wolvie through wall*
JackFetch
I'm wondering why they aren't pushing Deadpool more. Other than that it looks good. I guess it could all work out, but I still want this to end in a fairly tragic and downbeat way. I hope they changed the ending. While it is in no way upbeat, it was horrible in the version I read. Guest
My only complaints are that Deadpool isn't a scarred mess and Sabretooth is tiny. Other than that, it seems fine.
Molly
Deadpool isn't a scarred mess... yet. Wolvie gets his metal claws here, so it's possible the shots we see of Wade are pre-cancer treatment.

I somehow don't see them covering up pretty boy Ryan Reynolds at any point, especially if he's to get his own spin off.

NightAngle04
So this takes place before the first X-Men movie??? So we should go in with the expectation that Wolvie and Sabretooth will lose their memory?? Since they have no idea who each other are in the first film.
