SuaveStar
Twilight graphic novel gets 350,000 copy first printing. The sad part is, every copy is probably going to get sold at full price.
KnightWing
I was actually just reading not long ago about how publishers (mostly novels, actually, but still) will just flood the market with a certain book in order to instantly propel it up on lists like the New York Times Bestsellers. SuaveStar
First look at Justice League #41 I think the covers are crap, and the art looks mediocre.

I can confirm this. They also pay the stores to push certain books.
SuaveStar
Issue #2 of WWE heroes. As with issue 1, it looks shit.

SuaveStar
Preview of Red Robin #9 I like it.
grahamvidger
Chris Yost needs to write a series about Tam Fox, she has been awesome in red Robin. Though I think Red Robin has been pretty good so far (despite my hatred with a couple issues that have been done), I'm just waiting for the trade, along with the rest of the bat-books. Stavros
I'm liking the Mysterio arc in Amazing right now, and I'm especially liking the artwork of Spidey himself. He looks like a guy in a costume, and he's often unshaded which gives him a nice classic feel. Martin & Rodriguez are doing good work. Koete
It seems that Frank Miller has joined Twitter.
dc20willsave
It seems that Frank Miller has joined Twitter. To be fair, isn't this the fourth or fifth Frank Miller to join Twitter? I'll believe it when they get it autheticated/I see him have a back and forth with another creator.

If your a fan of her comic work, or even if your not, you have to admit, her tweets are almost always worth having twitter for alone. Koete
He's posted two covers for new Sin City reprints, so I'd say he's legit.

Stavros
I picked up the introductory issue of Tom Strong a while back and really liked it, and I've finally got around to the trades. This is a really fun series, if you like retro sci-fi adventure then this is for you. Highly recommend. Also, I know there is a thing against Nazi villains here at the moment, but how can you not love this cover?
Missy
Also, I know there is a thing against Nazi villains here at the moment, but how can you not love this cover? To be fair, I think that's just me.

To be fair, I think that's just me. I don't like your negative attitude towards Nazis Mike. I don't like to see intolerance like that. SuaveStar
It took having to visit two different comic shops, but the important thing is, I got that comic.

To be fair, I think that's just me. See, I think all villains in every story ever told should be cultist Nazis. Bonus points if they're tattooed like Darth Maul or wear Mandalorian helmets. Also, I know there is a thing against Nazi villains here at the moment, but how can you not love this cover? September 2008, I was in Leeds when I bought my collected trade* of Watchmen, as I wanted to read up on it before the movie version was released. Simply for doing so, I got a free primer for America's Best Comics and as such, I got introduced to Tom Strong. There was a lot to like about it, but as I'm not exactly a reader of comics, I haven't pursued it further. Still, that primer was pretty impressive. *Before E-2, I would have just said "graphic novel" and been happy to do so, so that deserves bonus points, methinks.
