Stavros
Snyder makes trailerbait movies by nature, but that was the one that won me over. Pretty excited for Man of Steel now.
JasonC
Snyder makes trailerbait movies by nature, but that was the one that won me over. Pretty excited for Man of Steel now. Yeah. I've given in and I'm now stoked for this. I know I'll probably be disappointed but I don't care anymore.
Koete
I've noticed that you have a real Gollum/Smeagol relationship with trailers.
JackFetch
How long is this movie, because it feels like it's going to be an hour before he is even an adult? edit: 2 hours and 23 minutes
Stavros
It's 2 hours 23 minutes. Not horrible, but fairly long. I got to thinking of the title as Man O' Steel. It's not funny, clever or helpful, but hopefully it worms it's way into your brains the same as it has mine. You're welcome.
Missy
How long is this movie, because it feels like it's going to be an hour before he is even an adult? If I recall, it takes about an hour before we see Christopher Reeve in the 1978 version. KnightWing
It's less than an hour, but it is a long time. Around 20 minutes on Krypton and 20 minutes in Smallville. I actually think Man of Steel is anachronistic, somewhat like Superman: Birthright was (and Batman Begins, for that matter). We'll see adult Clark before we see all of young Clark's story. KnightWing
A while back, I traced out a digital version of the Man of Steel banner glyph for use in various photoshop projects. (Someone commented on my traced image and told me he took it to a tattoo parlor and had it inked onto his chest, which is pretty cool I guess) Anyhow, DC just released this image of the actual emblem on the suit itself, and I decided to make a trace of that as well, since it's a proper 2D version of the glyph instead of a 3D model. Side-by-side, the two are kinda interesting: The banner version is a bit more dynamic and interesting, with its thin curved lines, but the suit version is more like the traditional logo, with more normal proportions and a more structured diamond shape. Missy
The Hub created a shot-for-shot remake of the trailer using clips from Superman: The Animated Series. They also were able to get some of the original STAS cast to record the audio.

NightAngle04
Is there a reason why that is spoiler free? Hell is there a reason why that writer couldn't write 2 different columns? 1 spoiler free and the other with spoilers?
Dread
The idea that someone would want to read a spoiler-filled review of a movie BEFORE IT COMES OUT boggles my mind.
Delete
Spoilers don't bother me. Never have. So I have no issue reading it.
