  1. My current theory is still that Wells is the Reverse Flash and using time travel to beat himself up. The Thwane thing is a misdirection, perhaps that family line exists in potential as descendants of Eddie (and possibly Iris) and Wells is a result of that, and thus he's trying to stabilise and confirm that future? I dunno.
  2. Actually might be worth swtich Des off to being the Kingpin so we can have Ian the Hunter and Chamelandy.
  3. I love the fact he says "again", like they go through this rigmarole every year.
  4. I might also mention that The Hart Boechner Zone is the name of my Turner Bachman Overdrive tribute band. And if I'm a Marvel villain myself I'm clearly just Razorfist.
  5. Much thanks for that, glad you enjoyed it. Much credit to Ian's editing skills for taking a very fractured set of Skype recordings and turning them into a show that flows quite nicely. 1- Des as Kraven is Great. Based on the original lineup Will would make a good Sandman (fills any role on any show well) Preston is Mysterio (good voice for the fishbowl), Dubs is Rhino (deadpan cannot-be moved reviewer) James is Vulture (feeds of the carcasses of dead movies) and as a wildcard Adham is Electro (boundless energy). Feel free to come up with your own! 2- The Hart Boechner Zone is either like the source wall, or the Bleed in that it allows our universe to cross over with the Tiradesverse, but when it happens it's not really acknowledged in continuity.
  6. It's funny that even though that portion of the episode was recorded half a year ago when I listened today still automatically said "Robin" when the issue of Batmans safe word came up.
  7. Ditto, it's the popular podcast exploding right now but it's genuinely a fantastic listen. An investigation of a real life murder with the mystery being whether the man who was convicted of the crime actually did it. The host talks to experts, friends and family, recreates the actions of those involved and digs up police interviews and testimony from trial. Brilliant stuff.
  8. I liked the Chelsea Peretti show as well, the creative little asides with a version of her offstage begging herself not to prostitute her life and stories were something I've not seen in standup before. Not funny per se, but really set the mood for something a little different.
  9. Little Santa with Muscles preview-
  10. School of Rock is a must. I'm partial to Orange County. I love High Fidelity but it's not really his film. Bernie might be worth a look as well, haven't seen it but he's supposed to be terrific in it.
  11. I'm so looking forward to your Matt Damon month.
  12. Glad they switched it, hope we get them tracking down the last of Quantum only to be beaten to the punch. Quantum wasn't well defined but they needed acknowledgement.
  13. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pNUvqIsYo7k This might be a Robin Sparkles moment. I mean, it's not exactly a secret but who knew?
  14. "Essentially a simpleton" might well go on my sig somewhere, thanks for that. I fall on both sides re part 2. It's not as good as part one but that's not due to a lack of proper revenge, it's mainly because the first film was the sizzle and the second the steak, and Tarantino is a master of sizzle first and foremost.
  15. It's not that much of a mystery. English accent plus distinct features equals heart throb. Just look at Benefits Crumblesnatch.
  16. Matt Smith does look like a terminator if they only put the skin on.
  17. "Shallow implies there's water in the pool" from Glitter might be my favourite moment of the year.
  18. Elongated Man is the one I really want. Ralph and Sue on a tv show would just make my day.
  19. My favourite moment? The list of names Wells gives as people killed in the accident (bet anything they aren't dead). Ralph Dibny (Elongated Man), Bea Dacosta (Fire), Al Rothstein (Atom Smasher), Grant Emerson (Damage), Ronnie Raymond (Firestorm), Will Everett (Amazing Man- had to look that one up). Nice 50/50 split on the JLI/JSA names there, hoping they get into both a little bit.
  20. And we'll reveal if you're right on the 52nd show!
  21. Hah, this was recorded so long ago that I'd forgotten that one.
  22. Happy yesterbirthday! Hope it was a good one.
