Molly
We live in a world where I can buy a crossbow for my wife for Christmas, without having to go to a store and deal with scary redneck people. I don't even have to go to a computer. I can do it from my phone. ...This is the goddamned future. (Side note, I have no idea why my wife wants a crossbow. She just... does.) Molly
I'm just hoping it's a "crossbows are awesome thing" and not a "hilariously murder my husband with the Christmas present he bought me and dump his body in a ravine" thing. Gareth
Something I just realized: Carmine and Italia Coppola had 3 children: 1. Talia Coppola - She initially married film composer David Shire (The Conversation, Zodiac), before marrying Jack Schwartzman. They had a child, actor Jason Schwartzman (Rushmore, The Darjeeling Limited). 2. Francis Ford Coppola (The Godfather, Apocalypse Now) - He married Eleanor Coppola had three children, filmmaker Sofia Coppola (Lost In Translation), film writer: Roman Coppola (Moonrise Kingdom), and the late Gian-Carlo Coppola whose daughter Gia Coppola directed the recent James Franco film (Palo Alto.) 3. August Coppola - He married Joy Vogelsang and together they had several kids including Nicolas Coppola better known by his stage name: Nicolas Cage (well, ya know). Together their family has accumulated 23 Academy Award nominations, 9 wins. This may not be news to anyone, but I had no idea all these celebrities were all so closely related. Sofia Coppola, Nicolas Cage, and Jason Schwartzman are first cousins, that kinda blows my mind.

Dread
This, as denoted here by Newsarama, shows amazingly how Heath Ledger basically just did an impression of late 70s Tom Waits when he played the Joker. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gCSc6E4yG9s It's fucking uncanny. James D.
As some of you know, I'm writing a reference book to help middle and high school students write better papers (just hit 20,000 words, btw) and I noticed that in my list of words to avoid, these two were back-to-back: Loud Love So, I got a Soundgarden reference into my book without even trying. Bonus.
Missy
Yesterday I had to provide a user with desktop support over the phone. First thing I asked: "Are you on a PC or Mac?""Neither. A Toshiba."That statement defined the next 45 minutes of my life the call.

Missy
I do (at home), but this was work. There I'm tethered to PCs, and this user was, we'll say, older. He seemed like a good guy, but a little clueless.
