Ok I haven't been paying too much attention to WWE recently. However I just got X-Men Origins from RedBox and they're doing at Marine II with Dibase? oh good god!.

I liked the first one, if only the fact that I'm a Cena fan, but this can't be good. It's probably old news to everyone else but hadta say something about it.

Former WWE wrestler Marty "The Boogeyman" Wright has apparently gone AWOL. His booking agent, Scott O. Epstein, has been unable to reach him in recent weeks and is at a loss to understand where he is. He coordinated for him to appear at a number of independent venues during the weeks and months ahead which have already been paid for (in part).

Epstein issued the following letter regarding his troubling situation with Wright:

TO: All Media, fans, talent bookers, promoters, and web site administrators

FROM: Scott O. Epstein,Talent agent/publicist, Publicity Management Services “Booker of Champions since 1974)

RE: Scheduled appearances with Marty Wright, pka “The Boogie Man”

Several weeks ago Marty Wright asked me to be his exclusive booking agent. As such, and in good faith, I arranged for him to be at many independent venues during the weeks and months ahead. Promoters have sent deposits for his appearances. These have been placed in an escrow account by me. In addition I am aware that some promoters have already purchased non-refundable and non-transferable plane tickets for him.

Unfortunately, I can no longer contact Mr. Wright. My phone calls, text messages and attempts to contact him through intermediaries have all failed to garner a response. I am at a loss to understand where Marty is.

It is beyond unfortunate that I have been unable to contact Marty at this stage of the game. I can’t help but be concerned about his well being since I can’t imagine anyone simply disappearing without regard to their business obligations. Although the better part of my nature is hanging on to the hope that Marty will re-appear to honor the commitments he had me make on his behalf, I must also face the possibility that he may disappoint his fans, and cost promoters money they can’t recoup. These lost funds would include travel plans, advertising and etc. Of course the deposits held in escrow can be returned upon request at any time. My word is my bond and I enjoy an untarnished reputation. It hurts me to know I’m now in the middle of what could end up being a pretty crappy situation.

I must make those who have hired Marty, as well as the fans that want to see him know that the possibility exists that Marty may be a “no-show”. I still have faith that he is OK and that he will surface, on time, ready to work and please his fans by his first engagement on September 25th. To those who have hired him I want to suggest that you hang in there a couple more days to see if he contacts me or gets word to me.

If I could talk to Marty right this minute I’d say “I’m praying for you, brother. I pray that you’re OK. I also pray that you know the hardest thing to re-capture once it is lost is ‘trust’. In this business if you aren’t trusted, you will not get the work you need nor will you maintain the celebrity status you’ve earned.

  • 2 weeks later...

I'm glad to see they are shaking things up on raw. New champs, new feuds, and they are finally ending the Cena/Orton feud at the next PPV.

Oh, and the Miz really is awesome as the new US champ.

edit:

It is being reported that Gail Kim busted one of her breast implants at a recent Raw live event. She now joins WWE Divas Champion Mickie James, who is on the sidelines recovering from the same injury.

Tammy Sytch is a bitch. This is what she wrote about Lacey Von Erich on her Facebook:

"Yeah, she'll overdose or shoot herself before you know it....ok, enough. I gotta go do some laundry...thats more important than LVE. later peeps!"

I think that's way over the line considering how her dad and uncles died.

Yeah, she really doesn't like her. She kept going off on her repeatedly on Facebook I heard. From Wrestlezone.com

Tamara Lynn Sytch

i mean, shes so bad, WWE fired her from developmental after 4 months... I thought TNA prided themselves on girls who could WORK!"

"Tamara Lynn Sytch

hey, it's not hard at all to LOOK hot...it's a lot harder to know how to work"

"Tamara Lynn Sytch

nope, not a single ounce of jealousy Tim...just wondering where the business that I grew up loving has gone. Talent just doesn't seem to matter anymore"

"Tamara Lynn Sytch

how can I be jealous of a disrespectful no-talent bimbo who is only in the business b/c she was born to a suicidal drug addict?"

"Tamara Lynn Sytch

no personal issue with her...it just aggrivates me when some get jobs and dont deserve it, when there are plenty of girls out there with looks and talent who should have those spots"

"Tamara Lynn Sytch

hey, I never relied on my looks for ANY job....think about it...I was one of the girls who was actually GOOD on the mike. I never said I was a wrestler...Im not. Never was. Never will be. do what I do for 20 years and you earn the right to critique the work of others...dont like it? Dont listen. Easy as that."

"Tamara Lynn Sytch

i agree.. Trish started a whole new era of women's wrestling.,I tell her that every time I see her...You see, I gladly give credit where credit is due.... but Lacey doesn't know how to handle herself in the ring, or out of the ring among her peers either...trust me, she's not a popular girl, for more reasons than one.

"Tamara Lynn Sytch

ok...so if Uncle Kevin says do it, does that make you good? If your uncle told you to be a plumber, would you be good at it?"

"Tamara Lynn Sytch

no, ive seen her work on indies that Ive been on...there's no helping that situation...she's bad. Candice was better than her."

"Tamara Lynn Sytch

I also heard she's walking around the locker room like she owns the place... Just wait til Kong gets a hold of that!"

"Tamara Lynn Sytch

the only thing she has going for her is her looks...its sad"

Captain Lou Albano has passed away at the age of 76.

I'm surprised he made it this long.

World Wrestling Entertainment officials are said to be down on former Divas champion Mickie James. According PWInsider.com, her recent weight gain and work rate are the main problems. While she’s arguably still very attractive and in great shape, she's held to a very high standard as a WWE diva. She has put on some weight (mostly visible in her abs & lower body) and it hasn’t gone unnoticed. Additionally, the quality of her matches has been sliding and she is no longer seen as the "reliable hand" that she once was. There have been various Internet reports this week that James is frustrated with the way she’s been booked as of late.

Every week I say "does anybody else notice how big she's gotten"? She's not huge or anything, but she's big for a WWE Diva. I know everyone will get mad at me, but I'm talking about what WWE wants, not me. There is a standard, and also remember they fired Cherry for the same thing.

She's not having great matches with such luminaries as Rosa Mendes and Kelly Kelly, they say. Shocking.

I won't even pretend to be even a little unbiased when it comes to Mickie. She's gorgeous and, even on a bad day, one of the best female workers they have.

Though I don't wish the pay cut on her, I'm sure TNA will take her if WWE ever does something stupid.

The following has been posted on WWE.com:

It is with great sadness that I announce my resignation from the WWE effective January 1, 2010.

I have never even considered a future outside the walls of the WWE. However, sometimes life takes an unexpected turn and while it is the most difficult decision I have ever made, it is time for me to move on.

First and foremost, I would like to thank my father for the incredible education working with him has provided and for giving me the opportunity to play a role in building WWE into the global phenomenon that it is today. I am extremely proud to have been the 4th generation in this business, and I am grateful for everyday I was able to work along side not only my own, but the entire WWE family.

Thank you to all of the WWE Superstars both past and present for your passion, pride and dedication. You are truly the engine of the organization and it has been a pleasure to work with, learn from and get to know all of you. Thank you for the privilege of sharing the stage with you and for allowing me to become but a momentary member of your elite brotherhood. I have so much appreciation for the many sacrifices you endure, both physically and personally, to make this business the success that it is. The respect I have for each of you is immeasurable.

Finally, there are no words to express my gratitude to WWE fans the world over for supporting this company through good times and bad and for your unbridled passion that fuels the Superstars’ performances. I am profoundly grateful to have been able to entertain you both in front of the camera and from behind the scenes. You are the greatest fans in the world.

I will always love this business and will remain a fan forever.

Shane

Never saw that coming. I always hoped Shane would take over for Vince one day.

Could be a long term business decision. A lot of the successful business families will often send the next generation out to find their own way, learn from mistakes on other peoples money and come back stronger for the experience. Or he could just not want to be involved with the wrestling business anymore.....

After attending a WWE match, the boys all want to be professional wrestlers in an all-new "South Park" titled, "W.T.F.," premiering on Wednesday, October 21 at 10:00 p.m. on COMEDY CENTRAL.

The boys have found their new calling in life and they hurry to sign up for the wrestling club. They soon find out the kind of wrestling they teach at school is not the same thing they saw at the WWE. The boy's wrestling coach has the same problem. He's been struggling for years to get people to see the difference.

That's going to be awesome.
