Blane
I've added the 2+2 pokercast to my list. I say this cause I'm steaming over a stupid call and this is my break to keep from tilting..
Aaron Robinson
So I finally got around to listening to a few episodes of Radiolab today, months after having it recommended to me, and so far I think it’s brilliant. I can’t say I’ve listened to many science-related podcasts before, but everything about it seems so right. The episodes are fairly short (20-30min), there’s a quirkiness to how everything is explained, but it’s still straight to the point. I love how they use sound effects behind regular conversations to explain things; really the editing in general is almost perfect. It’s easily become one of my favourite podcasts. Funny how we can never agree on comic books, but getting raped by a monster made of Cheerios is somehow a universal language.
Stavros
Okay, I just got a chance to listen to the Uncanny X-Cast episode 50: The Musical. This may be the greatest thing in the history of things. It was both terrible and wonderful, like looking to the eyes of God and realizing that he's leering at you suggestively. Stavros
Listening to the live Simply Syndicated Christmas podcast right now. A few hours of crazy holiday fun with Richard & Allison's Super Happy Fun Time!
GoFlash
The main two others that I listen to are a bit off topic fro the E2 world. Both are by Dan Carlin - Common Sense is chiefly about politics, taking shots at both sides, and Hardcore History is, well, cool history stuff. SuaveStar
Really, my only problem is that he leaves way too much dead air in the episodes.
George W.
Made of Fail I found it through Linkara's blog (he was a guest in the last episode) and it's pretty good. Pretty much covers anything they think of, but mostly geek related topics.
Aaron Robinson
Idle Thumbs is fantastic as far as videogame podcasts go. It has a similar charm to it that GFW has when it was still going. The guys know their stuff too, which is always great to hear.
SteveJRogers
Views From The Longbox Good "history of the genre" talk, with some current stuff mixed in. Seems like the host has been going through a "mid-life crisis" in terms of his comic book fandom though. Geek Out Loud Podcast Great fun show that takes a pleasurable look at comic books, movies, TV and such. Basically saying that this should be fun, and not all whiny and complaining about what you don't like all the time. Reel Podcast A new startup film news and reviews podcast.
