KnightWing
A whole slew of merch: (DC Direct) (Mattel) GREEN LANTERN (MOVIE): HAL JORDAN MAQUETTE GREEN LANTERN POWER BATTERY PROP REPLICA & CHARACTER MAQUETTES 6-inch figure GL Projection Ring If the movie costume ends up looking like the DC Direct maquettes, I'll be happy with it. If it looks like the Mattel figure... ehh... Apparently, that ring "projects the iconic Green Lantern symbol over 50 feet." That sounds pretty sweet. MaxPower
This movie could be a bit of a surprise packet. I was just on the IMDB page and the quality of the actors (some voice only) is pretty impressive.
JackFetch
The new trailer is coming out with Thor.
SuaveStar
Abin Sur: Ok, is anyone else looking at that image and thinking "He looks a bit like Kelsey Grammer?" Onto another point: Geoffrey Rush is playing Tomar Re
MaxPower
Haha, yeah I see that. On IMDB they have John Larroquette as Tomar Re... what's up there?
You Know Who
Geoffrey Rush is playing Tomar Re Very nice. Hope Kilowog has an equally memorable voice brought to him.
MaxPower
Kilowog according to IMDB is Dennis Haysbert.
You Know Who
Kilowog according to IMDB is Dennis Haysbert. I think whoever edited that confused the film with "Green Lantern: First Flight" (where Larroquette does voice Tomar-Re) and for whatever reason assumed Haysbert would reprise his role as Kilowog in the film (not that I would mind him doing so; I liked his Kilowog more than Michael Madsen's). MaxPower
You mean something on the internet is wrong? I am surprised it's gone unnoticed for one of the bigger films of the year.
KnightWing
New Poster shown at Wondercon: Aw, hell yeah. Apparently, a lot of footage was shown there, too. Sounds pretty good to me.
JackFetch
The high def version: I love the way the suit is crackling with energy.
JackFetch
The footage shown at Wondercon is online. http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/wb/greenlantern/ I am officially pumped for it now.

Stavros
It does look cool. Not sure about it's appeal to non-GL fans but it looks seriously loyal to the comics.
Missy
I know the effects aren't finished, but I am worried about the final product meshing the real and digital worlds. That aside, this is looking better and better.
Stavros
I'm still not going to watch this in 3-D though. Not unless I'm left without an option when I want to see it.
Delete
This is one of those Clash of the Titans 3D after the fact jobs right? If so 2D for me.
slothian
I don't actually mind the idea of watching this in 3D in that as long ALL the constructs don't fly out of the screen than it could potentially USE the medium fairly well. As opposed to when I saw The Green Hornet, which had no real business being in 3D at all. As for that footage? I'm excited!!
Venneh
Goddamn. Bits with Ryan Reynolds and the suit/Hammond still looking fakey at times still worry me a bit, especially with Blake Lively looking like a blowup doll, but you know what? His first oath sent shivers up and down my spine, and the parts on Oa look fucking amazing (Hugestro and Tomar-Rush in particular). If nothing else, I'm gonna at least like half the movie. Koete
That just got me much more interested in the movie; loved what they showed of Oa.
KnightWing
As for that footage? I'm excited!! This. A lot of the lantern suits still look really fake (mostly Hal's mask). Hopefully they'll tighten that up by the time it gets released. But if not, then I think I can get over that, considering the amount of on-screen epic win in just those four minutes alone. Seeing those thousands of Lanterns all together like that was just incredible. As Hannah said, that first oath was chillingly awesome. Love how you can see Hal's eyes actually get brighter with power as the oath progresses. And they're certainly not being shy about Sinestro having pointed ears and pink skin. Badass. Hopefully they'll tighten that up by the time it gets released.. On the new banner posted on the last page the mask has a texture on it that's not in the footage. I really hope that makes it into the movie.
MaxPower
I think the first mask is because the ring just makes it basic and as his skills develop, he'll make it better looking, like in the poster. This movie looks seriously bad ass. The actors are amazing, with Mark Strong the real stand out.
