Stavros
My son is almost a year old. Try pushing 9 years old... I don't know, Preston's son seems small for a nine year old. Having been to a one year old's birthday party in the last few months, I can vouch for their fun-ness. A room full of one year olds is hilarious. Molly
Outside of his 9 month old cousin, we know no other children. Thank fuck.
Dread
Once they're in daycare/kindergarten you will know other children. And you will have to take yours to their birthday parties. Then, you will hate them all...
Stavros
Oh god, a room full of two and three year olds is a nightmare. One year olds are just fun though, all roughly able to stand and maybe walk a little and overjoyed by the simplest things.

Then, you will hate them all... ...Is there beer? That was the first thing that told me Darryll and I would get along. He threw a party for our kids' gymnastics class and there was beer. It's a rarity. Of course, as I recall, he admitted that it was a carefully plotted ruse to booze me up and become my friend. So, probably no beer. dc20willsave
No better ruse than a booze ruse except perhaps the rarer booze ruse cruise. Be careful though, those tend to bruise.
Molly
While my hair is pristine, what I thought was a blond hair in my beard was pure white. Upon closer inspection, that fucker brought friends. I grew a beard to look older... ...Be careful what you wish for.
James D.
Kids graduating from college this spring have never had a time in their lives where The Simpsons wasn't on TV.

KnightWing
I never watched the Simpsons. It always seemed like a show that people my parents' age were obsessed with, so I just decided it must not be for me.

Dread
I remember watching The Simpsons before it was even a show, back when it was a segment on the Tracey Ullman Show. #OGSimpsonsHipster
Kscriv
And I will still contend that while a far cry from its peak The Simpsons is still a fine show.
