Molly Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 It's my favorite holiday. What are you folks doing for it, and if you're that brave, who/what are you dressing as? Quote
Guest DCAUFan1051 Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 It's my favorite holiday. What are you folks doing for it, and if you're that brave, who/what are you dressing as? I'm scary enough I don't need no mask MUH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I hate halloween I used to like it as a kid but the adult in me screams lock the door and turn the lights out. Quote
Guest Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 I haven't celebrated or dressed up for Halloween since I was about 10. I think it was all the candy corn I got as a youth. It is neither candy nor corn, and I got tired of being lied to. Quote
Dread Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 I spent the entire day wearing this: Out trick or treating with the kids, a bonfire and hot dogs after. Some wicked scary movies to cap the night off. Yearly ritual. Quote
Guest DCAUFan1051 Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 everybody has to have a monkey suit lying around somewhere huh Des? I just bought The Devils Advocate on DVD did you or will you ever review it for DM? Quote
Dread Posted October 31, 2008 Report Posted October 31, 2008 everybody has to have a monkey suit lying around somewhere huh Des? I just bought The Devils Advocate on DVD did you or will you ever review it for DM? It's kind of unlikely. I don't like or hate that movie. I don't like Keanu or Pacino. It wouldn't be timely to review it unless I had a themed show on lawyers or something. Quote
SuaveStar Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 Watching Smallville...... Or friday the 13th........ Oh and Des not a Pacino fan, well looks like I'll be taking back that signed photo of Al Pacino having sex with a werewolf I got you for christmas back! Quote
Kscriv Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 I just bought 2 kilos of discounted funsize candies, and we used to have to work all night for a haul that good. My entire class went as the alphabet (we all had a white shirt with a letter sharpied on it...I was V). For right now, meh, kinda got nothing planned...and I need to be up relatively early (9:30AM, but it's a Saturday) to do an assignment tomorrow (an assignment that involves getting a free ticket to tomorrow's Bomber game, so it's all good. James D. Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 I went to work, came back, and played Rock Band for 4 hours solid. My calf and elbow are killing me. Quote
JackFetch Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 I put on my costume for the kids at work then went trick or treating with my niece, then went to a carnival. Tomorrow, I got a flashlight candy hunt. This is a busy Halloween. Quote
Stavros Posted November 1, 2008 Report Posted November 1, 2008 I fell asleep reading final crisis and woke up at 4.30am to go to work. No celebration for me. The only significant Halloween I can remember was about eight years ago when I dyed my hair blond and dressed up as Spike from Buffy. Had the full length leather jacket and everything, that was awesome. Quote

Molly Posted November 1, 2008 Author Report Posted November 1, 2008 I ended up going as Captain Hammer, with my best friend as Dr. Horrible. We had a great night out with people, bar/party hopping. Quote
Doug Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 Me and a few friends went candy hunting (3 girls, And one other guy), Afterwords, we went to one of the girls houses and played Truth or Dare. Then me and my friend went back to my house around midnight, watched a few horror shows(I wanted to watch physco, But I couldnt find the damn DVD), Stayed up on my Deck and talked another few hours. After waking up half the neighborhood we went to sleep for about 4 or 3 hours. We then perceded to tell scarry stories. Holy God I'm Tired. Quote

Dan Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 Last night, introduced the boy to some classic horror movies (Hellraiser, Candyman, NOES), subsequently got in trouble with his mother. Tonight, went to visit best friend who lives in Salem, Mass., where Halloween is their Mardi Gras. Quote

I'd bust out of that thing hulk style if I tried it on now. Shame, he also gave me a dark red leather jacket with cream & blue patterning, that thing was the bomb. Quote

dc20willsave Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 So, we're about two weeks away. What's everyone planning on doing? Debating right now between Silent Bob, some kind of Black Lantern, or dusting off my Fidel Castro again. Too bad Fidel Castro is still alive, otherwise I could do Black Lantern Fidel Castro. Quote
KnightWing Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 Too bad Fidel Castro is still alive, otherwise I could do Black Lantern Fidel Castro. Dude, at this point, I'm pretty sure that Castro is a Black Lantern. Quote
Venneh Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 Coraline, the Other Mother. Just need a white sweater, and something to mimic button eyes. Quote
Guest Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 I'm going to be Curmudgeon Man, the guy with no friends that doesn't do anything for Halloween and feels the need to tell everyone about it. Quote
Koete Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 Not dressing up, but I've got a stack of classic Universal horror movies I'll be marathoning. Quote
grahamvidger Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 How could I dress up as Mr. Freeze? Quote
