JasonC
The CW has ordered a pilot remake of The Tomorrow People. Seriously? I was a huge fan of this show when it was around the first time....
dc20willsave
For the record, this is going to be the fourth iteration of the show if you count the 2000's Big Finnish production. This could work for the Americans since the 90s revival aired on Nickelodeon so Nostalgia could kick in here.
NightAngle04
I can't believe I'm about to say this, the CW had the most intriguing pilots to me when I saw the list out the other day.
MaxPower
My first thought for the lead in a Lance Armstrong movie was Richard Roxburgh, who despite most people only knowing him from Van Helsing is an amazing actor. But, it looks like we're getting Bradley Cooper instead.

SuaveStar
Superman Lives: holy shit did we dodge a bullet. I like to think Tim Burton read that script and said "We'll have some Danny "Oohs" choir and some catchy chase music" maybe have the funeral have everyone wear primary colours and it'll be great! Pass the hairgel"
dc20willsave
I'll read the script itself at some point. I read the Kevin Smith script a few year's back. It wasn't perfect but it at least kept Brainiac as a villain instead of a stupid joke.
NightAngle04
Lex Luthor doing a Don King impression would have been the greatest scene ever. I died laughing at "Hip Hop Phantom of the Opera" , this movie should have been made. Sounds hilariously bad. And then add Nic Cage and this could have the best bad movie ever. EDIT: I just read some the Brainiac/Luthor dialogue, Please make this movie!
Stavros
They should totally turn that into an intentionally bad musical, like a riff on Turn off the Dark and 90's superhero films.
Kenny Evil
What I understood from the last couple of episodes of the Office is that Brian the Boom Mic guy should have allowed Pam to be beaten to a pulp if he wanted to keep his job. Professor
I really hate clip shows. This is all.
dc20willsave
Their existence is worth it for the occasional piece of brilliance like the clip shows on Community or Clerks the Animated Series that made fun of Clip Shows.

Missy
Boyz n the Hood might just be the best movie with the worst directing and score I have ever seen.
Venneh
Oh hey, look. Illumination Entertainment (aka the same folks behind the Lorax and Horton) is going to be remaking the Grinch.

Gareth
Anything still using hand drawn animation I'm there. As for the film itself, I looks a lot like all of Studio Ghibli's other works which just aren't quite dark or engaging enough for me. But again, I'll see it for the animation alone. Aaron Robinson
Anything still using hand drawn animation I'm there. As for the film itself, I looks a lot like all of Studio Ghibli's other works which just aren't quite dark or engaging enough for me. But again, I'll see it for the animation alone. It's something that's disappeared over time, but there's plenty of darkness in Ghibli's films, especially the first handful. I take it that you've never seen Grave of the Fireflies? It's definitely an outlier in just how bleak it is, but I know quite a few people consider it one of the most depressing movies they’ve seen. Princess Mononoke is another one where everyone’s lives just seem to get worse and worse.
