JasonC
How the hell did they steal that from Sky and the others?
Stavros
Yeah, I fully expected this on Sky first and foremost.
JasonC
I can only assume that Sky passed on it. Although why they did would be an interesting factoid to discover.
Venneh
Rob Thomas (showrunner on Veronica Mars) is doing a modern day adaptation of Les Mis for Fox this fall.

Venneh
We have our stars for 50 Shades - Charlie Hunnam and Dakota Johnson Oh, Charlie. I know that Sons of Anarchy is ending, but really, you can do so much better. (Though, it's gonna be a hell of a payday.)
Dread
Can he, though? He's one of the most wooden unnatural actors I have ever seen. I'm glad this will keep him out of something that I would have any interest in.
Venneh
Ha, well, it'll certainly fit on that front, the role is basically Edward 2.0. Still, you don't want to go Twilight unless you have to.

dc20willsave
You know, Charlie Hunnam has had one weird career. The guy's first major role involved having graphic gay sex in the UK Queer as Folk when he was barely 18. From there, still with his British Accent, he played one of the major characters on Undeclared until it got canceled. After that, he does some minor roles for six years before getting a career revival on Sons of Anarchy with a ton more muscle and minus an accent. Now, someone seems determined that he can carry a picture with Pacific Rim (which no one went to see for him) and now 50 Shades of Grey, which I want to see crash and burn. slothian
I've only seen Charlie Hunnam in one film: Children of Men, in which he had a pretty menacing presence. Otherwise, I couldn't say yay or nay about the guy.

I honestly thought he was Australian playing British when I saw him in undeclared. His accent in that is weird and he definitely doesn't sound like he's from Newcastle. slothian
Tom and I are recording again this weekend. That's why the internet fairy is sorting me out with The Crow: Wicked Prayer, Supergirl and The Spirit. This will not be a good week. Stavros
In a reciprocal effort I'm enduring Faust: Love of the Damned, and possibly Howard the Duck. I already watched High School Musical (Rifftrax) today. This might be the worst week of film I endure all year.

Kenny Evil
JMS wants someone to reshow Babylon 5 to stop it from fading into obscurity. He wants a network to do this rather than Netflix, which would be the perfect fucking option for it! Seriously, I got through a weeks long Buffy marathon thanks to Netflix and could easily do the same with Babylon 5 rather than having to wait for it day by day.
