The Princess Bride

Lord of the Rings Trilogy

The Last Unicorn

Legend

Evil Dead I & II

Army of Darkness

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

Train Spotting

Donny Darko

The Nightmare Before Christmas

If you're over ten years old, I have nothing but negative responces to that.

Seconded (sorry!)

The Nightmare Before Christmas

Shit; there's another one I forgot. It almost redeems you for the Harry Potter thing, in fact!

I found the movie highly entertaining, though it was NOTHING like the book. In fact I have it on my CPU somewhere. It's probably hiding in some anime folder on my desktop.

Yes. I am 10.

Now, go away.

ARGH! THE WRATH! IT BURNS! BURNS LIKE ACID! ACID IN MY HAIR!

Having seen pics of you, acid in your hair would probably be preferable to the current style.

Ouch. Feel that burn?

Yes, you burned me so bad with that burn, FiendishMisfitGirl, who made the burn. The burn burnt me. That you made. With the burning.

Now go cast a magic spell with Hagrid and all your spotty, spellcasting chums.

JFK

Shawshank

American Beauty

Psycho

LOTR as a whole

Big Lebowski

Chasing Amy

Back to the Future

Gangs of New York

Taxi Driver

The Lion King

Godfathers 1&2

The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance

Say Anything...

Unbreakable

No particular order (among many others), except JFK being at the top.

Oh, and Harry Potter and the POA was a solid, solid film. The first two were not, the third is very good filmmaking that's not for kids under ten to appreciate.

HUGE BUMP!!!!

I have a lot of favorite movies, but many that I can mention here are films or directors who have managed to make a solid film.

Steven Spielberg films(except War of the Words)

George Lucas films

Robert Zemeckis Films

Tom Hanks films

Martin Scorcese Films

Robert DeNiro films

Joe Pesci films

there's a lot more, but those come to mind.

I know this is off topic, but I've seen Poltergeist over a million times as a child(I used to love torturing my sister with tht film)and now I'm watching it as a 26 year old man and JUST NOTICED Carol Anne's mom(Jobeth Williams)smoking and rolling up weed. I'm in shock, lol.
