slothian
Homeland season 4 ends the way you'd expect: making you want to eat the barrel of a gun. Jesus. This show kills me. Cultural differences being what they are, I can't tell if that means "I am very impressed with this show" or "What the fuck is this shit, and why am I still watching it?". 100% serious, I don't know, although my gut feeling leans towards the latter sentiment. Dread
Weirdly, Ian...it kind of means both. This is the craziest show on television. Even if other shows have dragons and shit.
Koete
Crazier than Hemlock Grove?

Koete
Will Des' opinion change later this year when we watch and review the final season? Stay tuned, folks.

Gareth
I swear to God, 3 or 4 of those jokes were ripped straight from Family Guy.
Pan-dub
I've been sick this week and spent a lot of time watching Arrested Development for the first time. Love it! A brilliant mix of the sublime, the ridiculous and the hilarious.
Kscriv
I've been spending my free time doing the same thing, the one thing I realize rewatching Season 4 for the first time right after the first 3 is how comparatively bad it is (still good TV overall, just not even close to the original run). Stavros
Yes. I dunno, trying to make a bad movie is so much less funny than making one through sheer incompetence. They'll pick the 'funniest' Wiseau takes, Wiseau picked the ones he thought were actually best.
Rjoyadet
just saw suits. Glad to see that Gabriel Macht can play the Spirit better than in the Frank Miller movie.
dc20willsave
Amy Pascal has stepped down as co-chair of Sony Pictures. This is kinda big because a lot of projects that she spear-headed, namely the 50 million Spider-man spin-offs, are now in jeopardy. Hell, if memory serves me correctly, she was the biggest opponent of ever letting Marvel touch the Spider-Man property so, depending on the successor, slight chance there,
JackFetch
I wish Sony would go after new properties instead of relying on old ones. Of course that is Hollywood in a nutshell.
dc20willsave
Shout! Factory has launched an Ad-Supported Streaming site. Highlights include around 30 episodes of MST3k, the first season of The Twilight Zone, The Weird Al Show, and a pretty eclectic selection of films. dc20willsave
In utterly bizarre news, someone bought time on FXX last night to air a pilot for The Wheel of Time that might not have been authorized by the copyright owners.
