dc20willsave
HOLY SHIT! Matt and I mainlined all of Danger 5 and it might be one of the most fucked up and awesome thing I have ever seen. I cannot recommend it more. A better description can be taken from Jack in the Netflix thread: If Sid and Marty Kroft made a live action Thunderbirds for Adult Swim, it would be Danger 5. It's the most batshit thing I've seen in a long time. Did I mention Hitler is the villain?

Dread
Trevor Noah is replacing John Stewart on The Daily Show. I've only seen him in the intro piece with Jon, contrasting South Africa and America and, while the jokes were fine, he was awkward and completely devoid of charm. Anyone know if he got better with subsequent appearances?
KnightWing
Kind of? He seems like he definitely has potential, but we haven't really seen enough to know if he'll make a good host. I actually kind of hate the "Jon turns to the left and talks to a correspondent" segments just because it's painfully obvious that the correspondents are being asked to play "characters" and read over-the-top lines word for word while Jon kind of sits there and watches. The only way I think we'll have a good idea if he'll make a good host is to wait and see if he makes a good host. Or I guess we could go and watch his backlog of comedy, including stand-up as well as all those times he hosted his own talk shows, but that would be work, so... yeah. Dread
I asked a pretty innocent question about the show. Not sure the snark was needed.
KnightWing
I wasn't being snarky at you, at least no moreso than at everyone, including myself. I haven't gone and watched his backlog either; I have too much Power Rangers and Smallville to rewatch.
Donomark
I remember the Boko Haram segment he did with Jon being incredibly awkward because the audience was obviously horrified and couldn't bring themselves to laugh at anything because nothing was funny. JackFetch
I've decided I'm going to wait to watch the Daily Show after the switch. Nothing against the guy. I don't know anything about him. I just want to give him time to find his voice. I really think John Oliver would have been the best choice, but he's probably got a contract with HBO. Dread
Pre-ordering the Decline of Western Civilization Collection from Shout Factory today made me feel better than any movie released this year will make me feel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qKlZELdJh8 ^best interview in music journalism history right there. Just one of the gems found in the first two films let alone the third never before released film!

Venneh
Well, this looks wonderfully cracktastic. I've been mainlining Top Chef thanks to a 2 month Hulu+ trial they've been giving console owners. Up to season 7. I think it's all new after this season; the last one I really remember was Vegas. dc20willsave
I thought that reviving Coach was the nadir of 90s revivals. I was wrong. Fuller House. My only two consolations: It hasn't officially been ordered yet and Kimmy Gibbler is going to be one of the two leads with Candice Cameron. Davedevil
On episode 2 of Community season 6. Hasn't been bad so far. It could prove me wrong later but I think it's about time for Community to come to an end, much as I love the cast.

dc20willsave
This is the fourth time a remake of Rocky Horror has been announced. It won't be the last but I doubt it gets much further.

dc20willsave
Oh sure, when Full House is rumored to be revived, it happens but when Happy Endings is rumored to, it turns out to be a fucking cruel joke by an asshat that still had access to the twitter account. This is why I drink.
